I was the Chair of a charity in which the previous CEO post was lost in a restructuring of the Charity. After a period of time the Charity found itself in great need of a skilled person, who could motivate both staff and trustees, and who would have the knowledge and experience to develop a strategic plan to restore the charity to its previous viability. After just eighteen months of hard work and a restructuring, using his managerial and financial skills, Kevin had reversed the fortunes of the charity so it was now on course to viability. Kevin had to make tough decisions, like making people redundant, something us trustees where not capable of doing. Kevin’s achievement in pulling the charity around is credited to his dedication, business acumen and personality. It would be a pleasure to work with him again in the future.
